Hi

What's the current waiting period for the new MCS? I've had my MCSC for over 2 years now (I think) and am looking to go back to the hatch after looking at Paul's pics. Is the drive much better on the turbo?

well its all fecked up due fuel pump probs but you would be unlikely to get one till mid march now i ordered on 8th dec due to the pump probs i dont get till 1st march

Generally, with most dealers, if you ordered one in the next few weeks, you'd get it for 1st March delivery.

If it was me ordering, though, I'd order a March build, as all the options and colours will be available then, and it would still be delivered by April.

You say new options and colours will be available for March builds onwards????what are these?? I have the new auto due for delivery 1st week march but will change that if there's something better coming along in terms of wheels, options, colours etc?????

There's nothing coming that will make a difference to an MCS Auto order, but the Automatic Transmission isn't available until March build anyway.

I enquired about delivery time for a new S at my local dealer yesterday. He said March delivery as well.

I placed an order with Elms in Bedford for a Cooper S just before Christmas and was told that we could take delivery by the end of January. We've decided to wait until March to take delivery to get an 07 plate.

I think it depends on your dealer. Hexagon of Highgate told me early April but Annie at Elms said that they (Elms Bedford) hadn't filled their allocation. If you go for one of the quieter dealers you may get a shorter lead time.

I ordered an MCS on the 29th Dec, and have a Week 08 delivery(19-25thFeb) at dealers for a 1st March Collection.
They're taking my 03 MC as trade in, which needs Tax/MOT on 1st March, so best its ready.

Been told that the 'Storage Pack' isn't available until mid-March. (Not worth waiting for IMO).

I bought my MCS from Elms of Bedford. Annie and the rest of the team are great. They have really looked after me and I would buy from them again. My Lightning Blue Cooper S has arrived with them today and I pick it up on Saturday.

I just popped in and if I order one now I can get one for end of this month. But may hold on until March as I haven't even decided on my spec.

Ordered Mine early Nov now due 2nd to 3rd week Jan ... I take it the problems on production have blown over now, can't see them letting the MCS's go if there is a prob ... and they do seem to be being delivered around the country ...
