United-Kingdom March Build Mini's have new options, colours available!!!!???

It has been seriously reported that Mini's being built from march onwards (april delivery onwards) will have new colours and options available to them and apparently they are 'worth waiting for'. I have a MCS auto due for delivery in march therefore not with the potential new options, so i'm in a serious dilema as to wether its worth waiting etc. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE NEW COLOURS AND OPTIONS WILL BE AND HOW MUCH????

The options and colours available from Week 10 Build onwards (week commencing 5 March 2007) are:

Nightfire Red (Cooper Only)
Oxygen Blue (Cooper Only)
6 Disc CD Changer
Automatic Transmission (Cooper S)
Limited Slip Differential (Cooper S Manual)
Sport Button (Cooper) - Still TBC
Storage Compartment Pack

So not really that exciting for someone ordering an Auto Cooper S.

Oxygen Blue

Does anyone know what the Oxygen Blue will look like? will it be lighter or darker than Lightening, and will it be metallic?

In a conversation with a number of trainers at the R56 Dealer Launch Event at Oxford in November I asked the same question (as I have it now and would miss it) and was told that it was 'highly unlikely' there would be an option to have two pods behind the steering wheel now that the Sat Nav has the integrated Speedo.

Apparently, MINI were never happy with this way of displaying both on the 1st Generation, but it was the quickest and easiest way of doing things.

If the Cockpit Chrono Pack is made available, it is more than likely going to incorporate the Speedo around the outside of the extra gauges, with the Audio Controls moved down in the same way as if Sat Nav is fitted.

Because when they bought Rover they bought everything, colours included.

That's why British Racing Green is now only available on MINI. Obviously there are similar colours on other makes, but MINI is the only one allowed to use the name.

It would follow, then, that the same has happened with Nightfire Red and Oxygen Blue.

The nicest color for the mini is indy blue. It is a shame they stoped making it although I have a indy blue one and I must admit I love it when people ask me if I painted my car because they like my color blue more than all the other shades they have came out with since 04.

I left MINI at the end of 2006, so don't know about anything that has been announced since (although MINI2 tends to find out before dealers anyway! )

Maybe something along the lines of my previous post will be made available at some point; or perhaps a dealer-fitted additional gauges kit will be released that offers the same information; but, considering how unpopular the old Chrono Pack was (I know, I can't understand it either!? ) I honestly can't see anything happening.
