Lightbulb Colour-combo Cooper (s)

Hello,

I'm in search of pictures of a specific colour-combo on a new mini MK.II !

My all-time favourite exterior colour is BRITISH RACING GREEN (available jan.2007)
My new favourite interior colour is LOUNGE REDWOOD RED (available from start)

If I would buy an new cooper S this summer, it would have the red interior !
But I think dark grey is to light, black is to dark, so I don't have many choices left

I like the new colour sparkling silver and I think it's a good match with the interior.
But how about a BRITISH GREEN - REDWOOD RED combination ???

So I'm in desperate search of pictures of that combo !!!
If possible with a black roof and dark rims

Your opinions, thoughts, alternatives are welcome as well !

Best regards !

I personally would never pair British Racing Green with the Redwood Interior for the simple reason that Green and Red are not complementary colours and will be 'fighting' for attention.

I've matched my red interior with Astro Black, although Dark Silver and even Pepper White do look like great viable options.

As for British racing green, I'll go with the Carbon Black or Tuscan Beige interior.

I personally agree with Nephilin and wouldn't put the two together. I think the new beige would look lush but not the terecotta colour redwood. Maybe it would be very gentlemans club but I wouldn't match the two. Maybe if the redwood was more browny tan it would work but its definately more red/terracotta than brown.

That's what I think as well, however if you look at the colour-table of the brochure you'll see that BMW says it's a recommended combination ....

At least by choosing that paint and trim combo your MINI will be pretty unique! You will not have many alongside at the traffic lights with the same spec.

True !

When I saw the unusual colour combo of the yellow cooper S with red interior I thought to myself, a mini can handle such "crazy" colourschemes ....

So IF I would to buy one it would be:
(I need "emergency" rear seats which fit more than baby's )

Exterior colour --> British Racing Green
Roof & mirrors --> Black
Interior colour --> Redwood Red Interior
Roof & panels --> Anthracite & Piano Black

Still searching for gunmetal, anthracite or black rims in 18" though ...

I don't like the 105 works rims !

That's about 680 euro ... it doesn't come cheap.

It would be a acceptable option for a mini in a bright colour!
But on a BRG cooper I think it would be a waste of money ...

See here: Saw a really nice BRG S yesterday.

It wasn't a car I'd spec, but it had the leather lounge red seats, was in BRG with white roof and chromeline exterior/mirror caps etc and a chequered roof.

Completely not what I'd chose for myself, but it looked really, really nice!

i can see the BRG and Redwood working together, despite what some say. I would love to see if anyone has a silver mini, not dark or sparkling, with the redwood interior. I'm dying for those pics, it's become my new dream mini, which i'm years away from, as i just got mine a year ago.
