Offline | Can you take a look at your roof and spoiler, and tell me.... How does it line up? That is, when the roof of the car stops, and the spoiler on the tailgate starts, how tight is it to the bodywork, and more importanty, does it follow the curve/line of the roof? As you may have seen I've had problems with a major water leak, which apparently has been fixed, however the spoiler now seems to sit low in comparison to the roofline, there's a drop down to the spoiler from the roof line. (Hope that make sense, too dark to photograph now). Strangely though, the window/waist line and rest of it seems as well lined up as you could expect, almost like the section from the waistline to the spoiler is a touch too small or something. Could you take a look at yours and report back for me please? |

Offline | Hard to tell from that difference, they look a little set down maybe? I just wondered if when you look at them close (really wondering mostly about S as that's what I have, but all helps) if they "flow" with the roofline or not? |

Offline | I was at the dealers, took a look at all the Cooper S I could see and they all seem very similar to mine, and from what I can see this photo too: Wher the main "body" of the spoiler appears a little lower than the roof line. Maybe not so much as mine, I'll take photos when I get it back, but it's at the dealer again and the tailgate will probably have to be removed again anyway so they say, so we'll see what's what. |

Offline | Was checking out some at the dealer the other day and saw one in Bluewater they all have the spoiler ever so slightly below the curve of the roof IMO. I think the pic minimpi posted show this...its obviously a trait of the spoiler. R |
