| Number 19... | I'm STAYING!! I put a stupid post on here yesterday. Yesterday i filled my pants and thought about tgetting the Honda Civi Type R. Today I would like to confirm I am an idiot and cant belive i even contemplated it. I would like to put this down to a moment of madness, and the stress and worry over Liverpool Football Clubs miserable demise in the eyes of the world. I love my present MCS to pieces and in a way it's hurting having people contact me over buying her. But at the end of it i'll be getting another one just a stunning, more so than any Honda. I only wish the MCS had the bright red starter button!! Thank you to all the people on here who have added their comments on the matter. All have been very interesting to read So please, accept me back into the fold, back into the community I have missed being part of all day ![]() what we achieve in life echoes in eternity |

Offline | The Type R is a good car! It's one of the ones I considered before I bought my MINI. The following kind of swung it for me though; The interior (of the outgoing shape) is somewhat bland. Dashboard just doesn't work and you don't get much in the way of extras (air conditioning is optional, but that's nigh on all you can choose). LOTS of power. 200hp even. But you have to rev high to see any of it. The good thing with the MCS is that the supercharger gives you bags of torque without having to work the engine too hard. If you want to match the power go buy a JCW kit you'll be glad you did.Suspension is good, but at the expense of ride quality. The MCS strikes a good trade-off between both I feel, a nice firm ride without putting your back out. MINI holds on to it's value a little better too, ideal for when you eventually want to trade in for the R56 ![]() |
