Finally my Mini Cooper S arrived at the dealer. They are working on it to have the iPod interface and some other stuff installed, but I can pick it up next wednesday. Here are some pics:

Congrats! A good looking ride. But I have a question; in the last photo there seems to be quite a bit of room between in the wheel arch and the wheel. Is this how all the R56 look? Those are 17" rims, right?

They look like the 18" JCW wheels. I figured the car was jacked up to install the rims. (Then again, maybe he's building a dune buggy...)

I used a 10 mm lens which makes the picture looking a little bit strange.
And yes, these are the 18" JCW wheels and the car is jacked up for installing the rims.

As for the sat-nav, they are installing the iPod interface which is a hell of a job (as the constructor told me)

My Mini Cooper S fits perfectly in the boot of my other car, a 1980 Chevrolet Suburban

The top picture reminds me of the old 80's arcade game MOON PATROL!

Looks great!

On a sidenote... thank you for posting these specific pictures...
They finally made up my mind for me...
I will not have the iPod Interface fitted now - I did not realise that this amount of "invasion" is required!
They are practically deconstructing the dash!

Enjoy your new ride!

Congratulations!

Looks excellent!

Definately re-affrims my plan to get some 18" anthracite wheels and lowering springs as soon as my DS/W car (with Redwood Red, too) arrives in March.

Here's hoping the iPod interface install is easier with the regular (non-nav) head unit.

Yes, I want lowering springs as well, but I prefer the original JCW ones and as far as my information goes, they do not arrive before november 2007
