Couple Questions

I plan to track my MINI in the summer so the 1st question is:

1: More to do with understanding tyres. Basically i want Toyo R888 tyres ( Lohen.co.uk - Track & Fast Road Performance for your New Mini - Online Shop ) and im thinking of getting a cheap set of 'old' mini wheels off ebay to go with them. Will they fit?

2: If i draw bonnet stripes to the style i want, where and how can i get them done?

Don't know about the first one by for custom decals you need to speak to Phil at Mini pirate - one of the site sponsors - website cab be found in the directory at the top of the page

Hope this helps

The 17" tyres will fit any 17" MINI wheel such as S-spokes, Bullets, Web Spokes, R90s, R99s, Crown Spokes, Flame Spokes etc. You're more likely to find S-spokes and Bullets cheaply on eBay.

The 18" will fit the JCW 18" wheels, but they will not be cheap on eBay

Wooly - we are in the process of putting all our new R56 decals onto our website, which will be relaunched soon. But if you need anything just PM me as I have the dimensions for R56 Bonnet Stripes.

Cheers, Phil.

17" S Spokes do NOT fit the R56 because of the bigger brake discs. All other 17" wheels fit though.

also the s-lite will not be ideal for the track as they are really heavy. better off going for a O.Z or Team dynamics.

Nearly fully loaded DS/B MCS GTT O.Z Superleggera's - TOYO T1-R Rubber - Aero Kit - Milltek Cat-back exhaust - GTT 220 - Competition Crank pulley - GTT Oil catch can - GTT Tensioner Upgrade pack - GTT Strut Brace - GRS intercooler

are you sure about this?

Just that the S-spokes fit over the R53 JCW brakes, which are around the same size as the R56 brakes

The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive?

According to price brochure the only 17" accessory wheels that don't fit R56 are the S Spokes, they are still listed as available for convertible.
