Ha ha! I posted that last message just as you added more photos. VERY nice. I love the red/black seat combo.. Really wanted that but I couldn't have a black Mini as I know I wouldn't do it justice on the cleaning front, and I love red minis to look at, but again don't think I'd do it justice...

So what did I go for? Pepper white!!

So you are selling this one and getting another MINI? I would probably do the same as your doing to be honest. Good luck with your new one.

Thats looking great!!! Loving the int. combo

harrietb, Pepper White is 100 times harder to keep clean than the old Ebony Black on our Kia Sorento XE. And that was a proper 4x4 around these narrow lanes.

yeah this is the one that I am selling, it is really complex but, they are giving me a really low buy back but discounting the new car so it is costing me the same on my PCP but obviously will have an extra 2 months to pay, I think that is really fair though.

They have said that if I exceed the buy back price by selling my car then that is fine and the money is mine so could end up better than before!!! and someone will end up with a bargain with my cooper S, it has to be the most loved car on the road!!!

Hi DRB,

I'm not happy with my Chiili Red R56 and want to get rid of it.

Are you getting another Cooper S or a BMW? How is the finance working??

Why do people want to sell their R56 minis already?

That is very fair given that you say the car is now perfect.

My main problem is with the qauality of the standard fit audio system fitted to my R56 - I am currently in dispute with the my supplying dealer and BMW over it.

Its a great car but its a fully fledged BMW. Its got no rough edges. Its boring. I may as well have been called a BMW 116i

I really really really miss my old R53 Mini!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For me my dealer is doing a preferential deal for me plus I am getting £500 compensation for all the problems with my car so that is why it is working out on the finance point of view.
The buyback is way below the price that I paid for it but because of the compensation and the preferential deal it works out really well.

I know! Must of had a mad moment! But I think white will be all the more rewarding when you get it really clean.... But I'm used to Silver not showing the dirt so it'll be a shock!

I'm confused by this.

For me, the R56 is the way the car should be. Not having rough edges is surely a good thing? I could not live with my 2002 MINI ONE as the quality was appalling. There was no way I would have bought another R53, I traded it in and bought a VW Golf.

The R56 still drive fantastically, most reviewers think it is a better, if more refined, drive.

I went to a launch evening for the R56, liked it, took a couple of test drives and placed an order. For me at least, the R56 is just about a perfect car

I really miss my old mini too, bumpy ride, rattles, rough edges and all, but would I swap my R56 for it - no way!!!!

I think there will always be good and bad points for each model......
