its desirable to have a personalised plate but £1000 plate or a GTT conversion!

i was up for auction to start with now for sale i got the next best thing for £399 with a big screw bingo

i wouldnt pay a grand for a number plate thats useless when you eventually go with a different car thats not a mini

They are always cheaper prior to issue, if it is not bought it will be more expensive after 1st March. Last year they had GP06 JCW for £399 prior to issue, all other .......JCW plates were £799 at the time. Just wish I had bought it when I saw it!!

I find this odd.

I was looking for a new 07 plate from the first week of January.

One of the numbers I thought of was this one, however I could not find it on any website.

I then just assumed that someone grabbed it the second the 07's were released in December 2006.

Unsure if I would have paid £ 1000 though - so I suppose it's no great loss.
