Someone has damaged my MCS!!!!!!

I walked up to my car today and to my sheer horror have found that some ******* ****** ****** has driven into the back of my car!!!! It has stripped paint off the back bumper down to the plastic and scratched the black wheel arch and the black valance at the back. I have taken it in for a quote but they have no idea yet how much it will be.

Whoever did it typically drove off without leaving their details. I can't afford to claim on my insurance as we only have 2 years no claims and I have been driving only 8 months! Therefore my premium with zero no claims would be horrific.

I'm gutted!! Just as all my problems had been sorted and I was really trying to enjoy the car!

Oh well, thats life!!! *******

Very sorry to here this - you must be gutted. I think most people on here will agree as to what you think of the person who did it.

I hate it when things like this happen... They'd be the first to complain if someone did it to their car...

If you parked in a common place you normally park, home, school, work. It may be someone else that parks the reguraly too. Be on the look out for someone who parks around you. Ya never now, you may find them. Look closely at your Mini, you may see color transfer, then you know what color vehicle you are looking for.

Just a thought... I'd hit Ebay for bumpers. You may find a new one in the right colour on there.. they generally go for 100 quid a pair. A bumper change is straight forward - you could do it yourself with basic tools.

Some idiot has put a small crease down the rear quarter panel on my MINI... not too bad and it's not worth paying for a repair yet but it peaves me every time I look at it.. will have to shell out the cash for it sooner or later!

Dear me. Disgraceful. I do hate people who just drive off without a note to contact them. Especially on such a new car, wouldn't be so bad if it were the 18 year ols Shogun

Thanks for the support guys, much appreciated. I am going to have to wait a couple of days for a quote. The guy had no idea on cost as they hadn't had to repair any R56's yet.

I'll let you know how I get on.
