BRG owners roll call! Is this the rarest colour of them all??

Well there seems to be threads for every other MCS colour so I thought it was about time to guage how many other MINI2ers saw the light an went for the best colour of them all - BRG

If you've got one then show it off with some pics!!

Here is a few of my baby:

Cheers

Jim

I think it's a fairly rare/low volume color, but oddly enough I've seen two BRG S around here, and they both looked excellent.

I think most people who orderd BRG got Dark Silver

I have to say I like BRG on R56 then R53. The lines of the new car seams to suit it well .

And its stunning in real life .

BRG I think is my fave colour after Pepper White. And obviously, the interior is fantastic

I think BRG its a bit out of vogue at the moment - but it will probably come back again.

MGF was last car that it was a popular colour for.

I ordered BRG and I honestly think its the worst looking color on the mini. Its always been a favorite color of mine but not on a car. I have not seen one on the road in my area and I believe I will be rare and one of the few driving a mini where I live. I think with black roof and mirrors people will know a male is driving. However, I still think white is a better match but I love being different.

BRG is awesome. It seems to just ooze class! My second choice would be black/white roof and stripes, and dark blue third. Nice pics of the OP's car by the way....

Thankd for the positive comments everyone. There must be someone else on MINI2 that has taken delivery of a BRG R56 MCS and is not just waiting for their's to arrive

Why have you ordered the colour that you think looks worst even though it will be rare, doesn't make sense? Maybe you should have got a Mellow Yellow instead since it is also rare and according to what you have posted is a better colour than BRG.

What do you mean by - having black roof and mirrors will let people know a male is driving?

Cheers

Jim

I didn't explain myself well enough. All the color choices for the mini look awesome. I have not seen the color scheme I have ordered. I was just doubting my choice. I'm over it. BRG, DS are the only colors I considered. As for the male driving comment, my wife put those words in my mouth.

Seems not my friend. Cotgo and i may be the only ones representing the BRG R56 here in the US, and yourself overseas.

I've seen a few first generation BRGs around my area, usually with a white top. I was torn between BRG and DS, after seeing both in person at the dealer i went with my gut, it was saying BRG from the beginning.

I agree with Cotgo's wife, BRG/B is a pretty masculine color; compare it to a MY/W, wouldn't you agree? It could be a US thing but we are raised with predispositions to certain colors.

I like the subtle difference between the BRG and the Black top, i didn't want a car that would scream "look at me," especially with the high concentration of uptight fuzz we have in my area.

That's kind of what was in my head. I just came back from the dealer as they have a brg with black to look at.

I now totally refute all my previous statements. Seeing everyone's MINI's in different colors other than what I ordered had clouded my mind. BRG with black is just the perfect choice for me. I think it looks awesome and much better in person than any picture can do justice.

It doesn't hurt that my clothing schemes are pretty similar to my new MINI.

Ordered on Feb 6th, in production and scheduled to be completed on March 8th. I'm hoping for good weather after the 8th and to take delivery first week in April. I've never been this excited for a car. However, I'm praying I don't get one of the cars I tested last week. (sunroof noise when closed). Most of the people taking delivery now have not reported a problem so let's hope it was taken care of.

Fantastic looking car mini_jim!

I haven't got mine yet (getting built this week), but when I ordered in November I was never in doubt - it had to be a BRG!

Ah, fair enough, just seemed weird the way you worded it in your first post. To be honest my wife does drive the car most of the time, I only get to play with it at the weekend

I guess you could say that the black is a bit more masculine (maybe not so much in the UK maybe) but I personally prefer the classic BRG/white combo, each to their own, the world would be a boring place otherwise!

Don't worry about the fuzz, just head for the twisties, they'll never keep up with you're go-kart in their huge lumbering cruisers!!

Not an MCS but I love my BRG MC R56 ! This one has a white roof. Previously had chilli red/black and solid gold/black. Most people seem to think BRG is the best I've had
