Offline | Just took delivery of my AUTO R56 MCS, finally!!! Well, after putting my deposit down 18months ago its finally here. Laser blue/Black roof Auto/paddle shift gearbox Chilli Pack Half Cream leather/cloth interior Piano Black Cream white colour line Interior chrome line exterior chrome line Auto Air conditioning Auto rain sensors and lights DAB (digital) Radio Hi-Fi upgrade Satellite Navigation Full colour coding of arches and plastic (on monday morning) Well for all you interested in the new MCS auto i have to say the gearbox is everything i expected and more. The paddle shift is truely excellent, much better than i expected. 1st gear tends to take a fair few revs to get the car on the move though, but i think that may improve as it breaks in (i have 50 miles on the clock). It is every bit as fast as the manual i test drove, although i have only driven mine up to the pre 1250mile limit of 4500rpm of course . Fit and finish thus far appears way superior than my old cooper and one. Love the hi-fi system, dont understand all of the negative comments, plus the DAB radio is also great - it displays all radio info such as the track name, DJ, contact number etc etc but its so overly complicated to set up. ive spent a good 20mins on it and im still not sure ive set it up properly - the manual explains the DAB radio so poorly. So all in all very happy, although the factory managed to install a speedo in KM/H rather than MPH, but thats being taken care of next week.I will post some pics up tomorrow if i get a chance and then on monday once its been colour coded |

Last week no sleep with anticipation, this week no sleep with the excitemant of having the car to drive. This car buying stuff is really bad for your health! I'm knackered! |

| MINI2 Regular | Don't forget: the paddle shifters shouldn't be used until after the run-in period! (At least, that's what I read on NAM... seems worth investigating.) If you see my MCSa Lightning BLue/white on a dock in Southampton, please let me know. It has gotten a little TOO comfortable after 11 days there! '07 LiB MCSa :white/white |

| MINI2 Regular | Your car sounds fantastic Damzac. But then, I'm biased; it's almost the exact spec of mine. We went for black half leather and dark grey colour line inside. Ours goes into production on Monday. Really looking forward to seeing the pics!!!A. ![]() R56 JCW Cooper S Auto. Laser Blue, Black Roof, R105's, Sat Nav.... the list goes on. R53 Cooper S Auto. Offline | Den W, yeah lind is where we got it from. when did you see it?? M1TCH - i got the car from lind. very very good service. Had a cooper r53 from Fairfield and the service is absolutely awful, would never go back. Lind is further than i would want to ideally go but they are worth it. they even come and get the car for warranty work etc and give me a lone car - excellent. PICS will be uploaded tomorrow, including before and after pics |

| MINI2 Regular | The interior chrome looks great, goes really well with the piano black dash and its more subtle than the r53's chrome. At night with the mood lights you get a nice shine off everywhere, looks classy. Daz- which Lind was that, missus gots hers from Chelmsford last week. |

Offline | Used M-style for paintwork. Have done a great job from what i can see. HOWEVER, what was supposed to be a 2 hour job, took 4 and half hours (they sprayed the parts before i took the car in). so i was not happy, but they gave me a discount. Apparently the new plastic trim on the bumpers is a lot harder to remove than old the R50 R53 mini |
