can i still plug things into the socket to eg. power a sat nav? i've not got anything to test in it and i'll need to use a sat nav for my job soon. i'm all confused because there is the socket facility, but it doesnt light up (i didnt request the smokers pack)

i know i'm gonna get ripped for asking this question so go gentle on me.

Technically it is, but it's a no-cost option rather than a standard fit, so if you don't spec it, you don't get it.
