Smile Just ordered!!!

Hello there,

Sorry to pain everyone, i just thought i'd share my news with you all.

I have just ordered my new S, and i can not wait until it arrives. I think i've just got the last one in Manchester to get to me in a couple of weeks April 16 - 17, so i have been told. This will be my third mini, i've had 2 ONE's and have decided that it was now time to upgrade to the new S. (plus i have a new job with more cash) I've taken the demonstratror out with all the bell & whistles etc and boy does it fly!!!!!!! and that was it i was sold. I ordered there and then.

I will post some photos when it arrives

my spec is....

Chiili red, with black roof,
Leather Punch black,
Chiili Pack, with Auto air con,
Multi function S/W
Exterior mirror pack,
Darkened Rear glass
Colourline Dark Grey,
HiFi

17" Flame spoke alloys

I have also gone for the Seal & protect which is £300. Is this a good idea?

What do you think, i have gone for a slightly understated look, although you might argu that chilli red is slightly in yer face? It's most things i had one my ONE, aprt from the fast engine etc.

I dont think its worth £300. I got Supaguard (which im told is better) down to £100 and in the end it was FREE. I had the option of BMW package this time but didnt got for it.

If you have the time get a Supaguard kit off ebay for around £30.

PS. Nice car!!!

Now With Toyo Rubber!!

mmmmmmmm interesting, what is the supaguard, or seal & protect? is a hard wax or an xtra laquer. is it easy to apply? if so has anyone done this themselves?, cos if that's the case, i can get the ipod interface. I have about 4/5 days left by the cut of point.

Have a little search, there's absolutely loads about it. Basically, it's a product you can buy yourself for not very much money (compared with what they're charging) and whether it's any good is actually questionable. Personally, I wouldn't spend my money on it. Just take good care of your MINI with a good quality wax, etc.

Sounds excellent...

...but I would go for an upgraded dash such as fluid silver, piano black or alloy. Also consider the red colour line which looks great. Bonnet stripes are also great, but you could add these later.

On the seal and protect - SAVE YOUR MONEY

I bit of effort from you will have the car looking better and as well protected.

Red/Black R56 Cooper Stripes, CHILLI, ASC+T, MINI HiFi, Piano Black Dash, Red Colour Line, Heated Mirrors/Jets, Spare Wheel, Smoker Pack!

No problem on the cut-off point. The Seal & Protect (and IPOD interface?) are dealer installed items.

The R56 S comes std with the Chequered int. which is much better than the std. Cooper fitment. £40 does get you the upgrade to either Piano Black or Fluid Silver though... Also, a colour line would look good

Std Cooper Int

Std MCS int (at the mo what your speccing)

With Rooster Red Colour Line

Sorry for the jibber, but I hope this may help

Thanks for the info,

the seal and protect is off, the Ipod thing is in, along with Piano Black. I'm not so sure about the colour line, does anyone else have any piccy of their own colour lines added in? Just not sure on how with a black interior and a red line would look. I do have a few days left, change things slightly,

just can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
