Howdy all, long time since I've made an appearance on these boards...

Just thought I'd drop a line and say I will be rejoining the MINI family (not that I left, just been away for a while).

I'm off to the dealers today to order a new R56 LB Cooper S (nice upgrade from my 2004 MINI One). Fingers crossed I should have it by beginning of May (last slot for the dealer on S orders). I know the lovely debate between R53 and R56 but Its time for an upgrade and I have to admit I love the New engine/transmission and the look of the car with the Aero kit on...

Pretty much standard kit from the dealers, I don't want to spec it too much...still debating on the Chilli pack mind - I mainly want the car for the drive rather than all the tidily fiddly bits...Plus I love modding stuff afterwards

(and I need to keep the price down).

welcome to the world of MINI again,
Go with the chilli pack, and if funds stretch, the Hi Fi, I've just ordered my MCS (with fiddly bits) and i also love to drive and fiddle.

Just been up and more or less finalised my order...just waiting on the elusive go ahead from mini finance and then looking at end of april delivery date!
