| MINI2 Regular | Hi Nick, thanks for the compliments. I struggled with the colour choice as well. Initially I was going to go total Astro black with aero kit, black interior as well and then piano black but thought it may be a little boring and tough to keep clean. Then I thought about Pepper white with half leather cream/black and piano black with aero kit. It's a fantastic combination but wanted something harder looking, more manly as such. Then when I was looking at the JCW bits on the website I saw the Chili Red car with black bonnet stripes and the carbon fibre bits and my mind was made up. In terms of the price, I didn't have any budget as such but I also didn't want to waste money. So as the car already came to over £22k I just thought I'd never get it back on resale if I add stuff like sat nav and panoramic sunroof and leather then if I only end up keeping the car a year or so it would be money wasted. The aero kit was a must for me as I think it really changes the look of the car so I decided to leave sat nav etc. although I did spec things like bluetooth, heated seats, DAB radio & ipod as its all stuff I use a lot. Good luck with whatever you choose. |

Offline | Guys the only thing that worrys me about my choice? which is as follows Chilli red black roof and mirrors Chilli pack is that the black cloth/leather appears to have white stripes in it this may seem silly but these stripes dont match the exterior of the car?? what do you guys think. I want a more plain interior with the exception of the chequered dash design just want it black and silver. AM i over the top to worry about sum white lines havent ordered yet but thinking about upgrading to punch leather purely to avoid these white lines. ?? What do you reckon guys??? |

| MINI2 Regular | If it wasn't for the fact that I get bored of my cars very quickly and didn't want to add too many extras on that I wouldn't really see come resale I probably would've gone for the leather as it does add that something. I actually prefer the cloth in terms of feel and comfort and also think this whole "a car must have leather" is overrated. And to answer your question I haven't even noticed the white lines so I wouldn't worry about it. Saying that, if it's within your budget and you prefer leather then go for it. |

Offline | Hi egg Truck if not peper white roll call why not get the ball rolling, have you had trouble with your r56 that prompted the change back or do you just see a nice car and swap. All the best with the new motor Eggtruck ![]() |

Offline | thanks derek. If I cant find one i will start one. I have always loved Pepper White in the onld model and I just happened to pass one on the fourcourt of a local Nissan dealership! It was a really good price too. The R56 is ok - its just not the same as the old model. I think anyone new to the brand will love the R56 but its not for me. |

Offline | Are you allowed to take the ray cloth trim off the chilli pack and have the standard black cloth with the chequered pattern. I prefer this trim to the Ray cloth , I'm not keen on the pin stripe either. ![]() |

Offline | I think Hong Kong is a bit different to other country that dealer doesn't provide chilli pack, and some options are equipped as standard, e.g. light package, fog lights, multi-function steering wheels, etc. Other than those std equip, I have also Xenon, panoramic glass roof, DSC, sports suspension, sport button, nav system, rain sensor, color line, chrome interior on my Mini! Love them! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
