Offline | Congratulations! I hope your new Mini is what you expected and much more. I'm feeling jittery too, just because my Mini is getting loaded on the shipping vessel. I can't wait till I get to feel what you are feeling right now. =) |

We just found out ours made it to port and is awaiting it's spot on the ship. Very exciting needless to say. How long did it take for your mini to be put aboard? What port is yours headed to? |

Offline | Hi Evergreen, My car arrived at the port 3/26 and got loaded today 3/31. If it doesn't get bumped off then it is suppose to leave towards the US today also. My car got loaded at 5:22pm their time. My port of destination is Charleston, SC but I live in Texas so it's going to be a while. I'm getting excited but I dont' want to get too excited and keep checking because I think it makes the process seem even longer. heheeh. How about you? |

Offline | Ah, the pains we suffer to own a mini. We were suppose to get an April build (ordered 3/7), but according to ask-mini we are built (3/29) and at port awaiting shipping (today). We can't believe how quick! (knock on wood). Now we're wondering if it is going to sit at the docks or be loaded soon. Sounds like it took five days for them to sort out a spot for you. Of course our port of entry will be in California so that could mean different sorting, ships, schedules, etc. You have it down to the minute! How have you done that? Did you post your VIN on WW's website? I assume all that info's there and available. Our VIN doesn't show up yet, so we're thinking it's yet to be processed. All very exciting, and mini2 stories about people off motoring in bliss makes it worse! ![]() |

Offline | Evergreen, Have you been checking on Owner's Lounge to see what your VIN is? But if you call into Mini Customer Service then they are more exact. Your order is very rapid. Original order was 2/19, he cancelled, I got his spot when I ordered on 3/9. Didn't get into production until 3/19. If you call up ASK-MINI, you could ask them for your VIN. Yes, I posted my VIN on WW's website and it says the time when my car was loaded. Well, my vessel is going to California too. WW lets me check all the docks that my particular vessel is going to. You can also check your Californian dock to see when any ships are scheduled to arrive to your port and those can carry your Mini. I feel your pain though, since California is the last stop I think, but since they produced your Mini fast then hopefully your wait isn't too long. I had to wait 5 days because there weren't any ships scheduled to dock until today. But on their website it states that my spot was booked 2/9. So I guess each dealership gets a slotted time for each cargo ship?? |

Offline | Sounds like our timetables are about the same. Our order went in 3/7, production started roughly 3/22. We do have our VIN but when we plug it into WWs website, nothing comes up. Some folks mentioned in here that West Coast shipping can be through another company, so maybe that's why we don't see anything posted. I did notice a ship leaving for the West Coast (Maersk Wave) on Monday through WW. Hopefully we make that one! Well, be sure to post pics after deliever and I'll do the same. I never get tired of looking at these things. ![]() |
