Tool for removing wheel nut covers

Hi,

Just wondered if the new models still come with the little tool that you use to remove the wheel nut covers. I noticed the other day that my car is missing this tool (my old cooper had one). There is a space in the polystyrene tool holder for it. I know its not uncommon for the serivce dept. to 'borrow' things from cars...

Can someone let me know if their MCS has this tool or if we're supposed to use the screwdriver?

Thanks,

Leyton

btw. I don't have the MINI mobility system.

Just use the screw driver or a pair of pliers

Just order the hub cap puller (pn 71-11-1-507-294) from your dealer

I queried this and my dealer supplied one for free.

I think there has been a mistake by MINI in missing this out.

My dealer told me that you're meant to use the screwdriver and 'some cardboard to protect the wheel'. I'll try and pick up the wheel cap puller next time I pass my dealer.

Poor service!

Tell your dealer it tells you in the manual to use the puller, not a screwdriver and a piece of cardboard

The puller probably costs pence - they should be giving you one FOC. How much did you spend on your car
