Offline | Looks fab! Im loving the vipers, they compliment the aero kit so well. The wheels are also awesomel. Looks like it was definatley worth the wait. One question though, this is the first R56 'S' I've seen on here without Xenons, how come your car doesnt have them? Offline | due to budget restrictions I opted out of the chilli pack - wish I couldve afforded a bit more but the insurence and finance costs would have been just a little out of my reach as I'm moving out in a month or so ![]() |

Offline | I see, its a fantastic car to be fair, so I dont think it makes much difference. Just bang some brighter bulbs in and you'll have a similar effect for a fraction of the price I've got some halfords 'super brilliance' 50% brighter bulbs in mine and the difference is amazing. Allthough I might change them at a later date for some ones that have a slightly 'bluer' effect. James. ::.. 2006 MINI ONE D now with added Aero Kit ..:: --- Modern MINI Oscars Winner 2008 --- |

Offline | Thanks matey - First thing planned is removing the orange indicator bulbs - so I could replace the other bulbs at the same time - might ask mikey for some advice ![]() Thanks for the compliments though, I cant wait to go past 4k rpm - its 'throwyourheadbackfun' already ![]() Nice car too by the way! Thanks Mo - I'm loving it - Stratstone are Priory/aka Victoria in disguise if you know of them (near the Silverlink). Cheers my dears, I'll pop round so I'll take you for a spin sometime ![]() Thanks Michael - loving your motor too...MINI heaven ![]() Yeah, I have to admit, I loved my old MINI One, but love this design too...I know its a bit 'bulkier' looking but it has some very nice touches to it...and what seems to be alot less cabin noise ![]() |

Offline | Thanks mate, Just a ONE D, but its a MINI adventure all the same! When I turn 21 in about 18months, I might look into a Cooper S, one thing is for sure I wont be leaving the MINI fold in a hurry.Mikey will sort you out no probs, good thing about the R56 is that you will only need two bulbs, unlike the four in the R50/53. In the meantime enjoy the car, and looking forward to the review in a 100miles time! James. ::.. 2006 MINI ONE D now with added Aero Kit ..:: --- Modern MINI Oscars Winner 2008 --- |

Offline | Stunning car!! I've opted for a fairly similar one. For insurance reasons I went for a Cooper but with all the interior options imaginable. On the outside I'm having Bridge Spokes, and I need to add the Aero kit now I've seen yours. Amazing! Do you mind if I ask how much it was, roughly? Mine ended up costing about 17.5k, and that's with the SuperSpecialSecret-discount of 10% they gave me. |

Offline | Thanks, its certinally cheaper than if i'd fully specced it with chilli pack ![]() As mine is on finance, I have an agreed price if i wanted to get another MINI once I've had this one for a while Thanks interludio. Sounds like one hellova spec cooper bet you cant wait!Mine was around 18k or so, I'll have to double check everything mind ![]() I love the aero kit, it looks the dogs danglies. Really wanted it on my old MINI One but never got round to saving up, hehe. I shall cco7ers - have done 170miles already and only had it around 30hours or so its so much fun! |
