Read a performance mag today whilst at WH Smith about a Miltek for the new R56 Cooper S. Gain of +22BHP for an exhaust ! Could not beleive it at the time so I read it all to make sure no other mods were included such as chipping etc. Even at £850 its cheap power.
Miltek say that the system is designed for mid range gains so to suit road use.
Once rolling, the new S in standard form is not that far off the previous cooper S works for performance as the torque curve is nearly 90% at just 1900RPM as opposed to the Supercharged works that peaks at 4200RPM. Makes for good in gear times.
With the Miltek it got to be close.

Welcome Wardpaa what book was that in i will like to have a look at that sounds good tha t the R56 MCS is not far of performance of JCW R53 but the proof of the pudding is always in the eating any test cars out there.
