Offline | Changing Xenon's for driving in Europe I'm takingthe car to France and Switzerland in a couple of weeks, and wondered whether anyone knows whether you need a sticker kit or there is a switch to adjust the headlights for driving on the right? Also, is it possible to have the digital seed readout in KPH instead of MPH whilst abroad? Cheers in advance. |

Offline | There is indeed a switch to adjust the xenons for driving in Europe; see this thread for step by step instructions (with pictures). I don't believe it's possible to change the digital speedo to KPH, or certainly not temporarily (i.e. without having the car reprogrammed). |

Offline | My dealer told me there is a switch inside the bulb housing. With the aid of a mirror I can see nothing that resembles a switch. Back to the dealer methinks. Changing to kmh is easy. With ignition on and engine running... Press your OBC button repeatedly until SET/INFO is displayed Press and hold to enter the Settings menu Press repeatedly until a key with a ruler beneath it is shown Press and hold to enter the Units menu Press repeatedly until Mls/Km (I think) is displayed Press and hold to enter the Distance menu Press repeatedly (probably twice) until Km is highlighted Press and hold to set Kmh Job done. |

Offline | Have driven my xenon equipped 330d in Denmark (lights on all the time), Germany, Holland, Belgium and France and not had anyone show anger about the lights. On the strength of this will not be adjusting even if its possible. |

Offline | I was told by our dealers that the reason for the switch is to save on cost on producing cars for different markets - so I would think you can change the R56 one's as well. |

Offline | So did we find out if there was a switch? I'm going to the Nurburgring in June and it would be helpful if i could switch them over! .: R56 Cooper S : Dyno'd 192bhp :. ![]() .: H&R Springs : JCW Discs : Forge BOV : Alta CAI :. |
