Could be picking car up soon?

I just phoned the Mini Dealer I ordered my Cooper S from about 6 weeks ago and have been told the car is on its way to 'Brooklands' which is where it is cleaned and registered etc... I get the impression 'Brooklands' is a central facility for many Mini dealers in this area (Berkshire) but I could be wrong.

How many days on average does this take? I am sure there are variances but is this a few days or a week? The sales guy was pretty vague (I think so as to not dash my hopes by promising it end of this week).

I am getting very exicted now!!!

i just got my car on monday and it took them about a day to do that. i called them sunday to tell them id come up and get it but he said no mechanics were on site so id have to wait til monday. i think it just depends how many cars are in front of you. i think all they do is clean the car and make sure everything is working fine. i love my car!
