I will be ordering a new MCS later this month, or possibly buy a demo instead......save some of that VAT that way!

LSD....did not think that it can easily be added aftermarket...??

Demo..good way to save some dosh, I thought about that as I needed a car quick (last car stolen) but in end wanted to have excatly spec I wanted, and to know how the car had been driven from new...

....will cost me but I know I'm happier with it....in past I got a ex-management BMW330ci...and as good as it was I missed spec'ing a few things. Though I did save £6k that did completely negate the issue.

At end of day do what you think is best and ignore everyone else, I know that is what I did....especially my wife

Yeah I agree with that sentiment, I took out a Cooper S on Friday, one of the sales team cars.
It was filthy, panels where scratched and for a brand new motor only having 1,500 miles on it.

Also I took a 350Z for a drive again an abused motor

Hi Rams,

So still not sure about your next car then eh?!

Here are a few I've found on MINI Cherished....

A little pricy @ £22k, but this one has a huge spec. A taster; Nav, HiFi, 18" JCW's, Aerokit, Bluetooth, DAB, Panoramic Roof, Sports Suspension, Auto Lights/Wipers,

MINI Cherished

Lightening Blue Ex-Demo car: (21k)

MINI Cherished

A Black one with AeroKit... (£22k but has less spec than the 1st car, which looks like a 'bargain' in comparison)

MINI Cherished

Another blue one, but this ones £19,995 (aero kitted)

MINI Cherished

Potential bargain?! £19k with AeroKit and 18" JCW rims.

MINI Cherished

Regards,

James.

Mine is for sale at a good price, very low. Laser blue with white roof, chilli pack R99's plus loads of other options, 3200 miles cost 21,00 make me a silly offer?2007 and we are not talking any where near 19,000 for it.

Here is our cooper in PS. Not A MCS or with Aero Kit - but you don't see many Pure Silvers around.

Do not even think about spending your £21,000 on a mini as you will almost surely regret it.

Visit the forums for all other manufacturers and you will see that all cars have problems. Yes, people on here (how many 30, 50?) have had significant problems with their cars, but how many R56 have been sold so far 50 000?

Go ahead and order the car you really want. Personally, I would not spend too much on options. £2-3k is enough to get a very nice MINI.

Oi, no mickey taking out of my name thank you very very much. Mine is a mint car and priced very well. With all the JCW stuff I doubt you'll find a car cheaper with that spec.

The Stratstone car lacks Bluetooth, Heated Seats, Visibility Pack, Ipod Kit, DAB Radio, all the JCW bits including JCW alcantara steering wheel, gearknob, bonnet duct, tailgate handle, handbrake lever. It also doesn't have sports suspension or LSD. My Cooper S is a monster spec. Oh and Chili Red, proper mans car. At 20k mine is much better value than the Stratstone car. The additional extras on top of the car are worth £1700 alone.
