I recently had the dealer trying to persuade me to part with £2000 for a Chili pack that I didn't want to help with the cars resale value, I pointed out that I wasn't interested in buying options for someone else and asked what the difference would be come 4 years down the line. They consulted their book and seemed suprised that the Chili pack only added £200 to the price.

It's funny cos when you are buying they are telling you that it will be better come resale time if it has all the bells and whistles, but then if you try trading in they say "no the options don't really make much difference".
