After a 4 month delay we finally picked up our new mowta today. It's our third MINI (previously had a Cooper CVT, then a Cooper S Auto). We were sad to see our Cooper S go, but we are loving this new car.

Spec is:

Cooper S Auto
Laser Blue/Black
Half leather
Piano black trim
Anthracite roof lining
Sat nav
R108 multi spoke alloy wheels
JCW Body kit
Vis pack
Heated front seats
Hi Fi upgrade
Bespoke roof graphics - Lion rampant emblem with St Andrew's cross in silver running through it.

Many thanks for the kind comments folks.

We were off on a :: NEWMINISCOTLAND :: social night tonight, round trip of about 100 miles. Car handles fantastic.

I added a JCW Strut Brace in the car park at the restaurant - bought second hand from a soon-to-be former R56 owner. My wife drove home (well, it's her car

) so I won't know how much of a difference it makes until tomorrow.

Loving it!! You're so lucky I bet you turns a few heads driving her. Thinking of a similar spec myself, did you debate over the blue interior? or did you think it maybe too much?

Many thanks for the recent replies folks....

Mini_lou... This may surprise you but my wife and I knew exactly what we wanted for the whole car, with very little disagreements at all. We both had a vision of what we wanted out of the car and how we wanted it to look. So there was actually very little discussion/debate over the spec. In particular, we both wanted a darker interior this time. Our Hyper Blue Cooper S had the regular cream rooflining, and this time we wanted it darker so we went for Anthracite roof lining and we loved the Piano black look so went for that too. Some folk are moaning about the piano black being impossible to keep clean - nonsense. Just give it a quick dusting every few days and it stays clean and scratch free.

Yeah I noticed some ppl whinging about the Piano Black but I just think it looks so classy & you're right a quick dust every few days should keep it mint. Think I will just go for the PB colour line as the seats might be too much but definately the Anthracite roof lining. I've seen so many Laser Blue with the white roofs but as I have a chilli red/white I need a change!!

Unfortunatley my Hubby is a Scooby lover & tries soooo hard to convince me to go in with him on a newer one but I love Mini's too much!! Think he's finally accepted I'll be purchasing my new baby soon!!
