When I bought my mcs in DS I planed to have viper stripes fitted but with dealers quoting over £250 I was having second thoughts. Until speaking to a friend at work who said he had fitted similar stripes to a van he used for work. So ordered a set off a company I googled and a couple of hours work saved myself over £200 pound.

Looks like a good job too.

My only concern with "cheaper" stripes would be how good they are for fading.

From what I understand, higher quality graphics of that nature tend to let more UV pass through, so the paint fade difference between decal and non-decal areas is minimal, yet they resist fade themselves.

I have no idea how it works though, must involve some sort of black magic.

Certainly look top notch though, and a bargain at that price!

The stripes are made by LG ( electronic company ) they're supposed to last 7 years but at this price if they stay fade free for the 3 years I'll have the car I'll be happy.

How easy were they to apply?
Bubbles? Special squeegee of some sort?
