Offline | rejected cars... where are they now!! Question: For those of use who unfortunately got lumbered with a 'lemon' as our first MCS do we identify these cars to other mini2 users? My first car is on the cherished site! ![]() |

Offline | A reg and what it was rejected on would be nice! If anything it could help members have a closer look if the car had problems, not saying it would stop sales but could help in getting the car fixed as you have a record of what was wrong….. I like to go in to a dealer and be able to say, “ Right the gearbox was clonking is this fixed and do you have the paper work” Could be a new important sticky…. |

Offline | I didnt reject mine but I sold it back to Mini and it can be now be seen at Vines Mini in Guildford. Chilli Red/White Roof R56 MCS £18,295 - I paid £19,400 for it in January. Nothing wrong with it (apart from crap hi-fi) - I just prefered the R53. |

Offline | Well heres the info on mine. LB/B R56 MCS Ordered in July 2006 (£19300) delivery was delayed (part of the Dec/Jan build saga).......should have eventually collected March 2007
Now for sale at Williams Manchester £19000 In fairness it did seem fine when they had sorted out the problems but I had no confidence in it and dreaded going for a drive. ![]() |

| Dodgey, er, dodgem driver | Brand new 355 Modena?? That sounds like an interesting hybrid - The looks of a 355, the drama of the howl of the v8 in the 360, and the stuning handling and presence of the brand new Ferrari F430 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 355s started in 1994, and stopped production in 1999 (I think) and with it ended Ferrari's best production car ever (my opinion )360 Modena started in 1999/2000, and ended in 2005, and if it was a brand new motor, it'd be the F430. Stunning cars - Been lucky enough to have been in all of them - Guy started out in a 308 back in the 80's and he's worked his way up 'the social ranking' as if it were, and hes now got an F430 Spider in gorgeous Nero Daytona Met Black. One of the first of the F430's in teh whole country apparently. These are only basic figures of the top of my head when Im off the boil slightly due to other commitments. But, is this car turns out to be a hybrid of all of these motors, Id like to get in touch with the owner ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| The Second Coming........ | CCO7ERS - Got confused, it's got an extra 0 where your second "C" is. Ollie - 355, 430, 270, 360 degrees, i live in devon mate, the only thing around here that i know the correct numbers of are bloody John Deer tractor's lol. I get more confused by Ferrari numbers everytime they release a new model. And the bloody thing goes past people so fast, it may well be a Lamborghini for all i know lol All i do know is it is Gunmetal Grey, Fast and lovely looking, and its deffinitely got a Horse not a Bull on it lol |

Offline | Down at a Honda garage today, I had a new ford company car to get its first service and the ford garage sits in a massive complex that has most of the dealerships. Anyway found a Cooper S just over 3K on it, lovely wee car in blue with white bonnet stripes – so I asked and apparently it was traded in for a New Type R….. as the sale’s man being a sales man said it was the wrong car for the customer them opened up a little and said he thought it was slow. So I said does it have any problems – not that he knows about but it’s still under BMW warranty so they would make sure any problems were fixed. All I could think of was Wow a costly mistake. A guess there is a few that will get rid of the poor we things. |
