Offline | I've seen better, I think those wheels look a bit naff to be honest. But they're the sort of thing that has a wide appeal. Generally speaking the 2nd gen does look good colour coded and lowered a bit. There aint no party like my nana's tea party |

Offline | Granted, wheels are a bit 'Wolfrace', but it's the nicest I've seen, better than the Hamann version. Lies need defending all the time. The truth defends itself. |

Offline | I dont like the colour coded wheel arches...just makes the panel gap between bonnet and wheel arch look worse ? And my car already rubs at just about every speed hump when doing over 20mph, some it rubs at 10mph in my estate...so lowering is completely maddness. Though it does look good. Wheels...mmmm... nahh, not nicest I've seen, then again I like R95's and that is what I want eventually. |

Offline | You have the aero kit, so that makes a hell of a difference ground clearance wise. Also, I have an aero kit and have lowered the car with eibachs and I don't rub on many speed bumps ![]() |

Offline | Not the aero kit that rubs it is the wee plastic flaps in front of each wheel... drives me nuts. Are these lower when you have the full JCW aero kit ? I live in a new estate and 12+ speed humps / speed cushions to navigate every day... one in particular is really bad at anything over 10mph and it rubs. A mate in his R53 MCS without the aero kit also rubs at same bits... So what I am saying is I'm stuffed for lowering my car... |

Offline | Yes, the plastic flaps infront of the wheels are lower on the aero kit than standard. If you have aero kit and eibachs, you get approx 50mm clearance ![]() Altho that dosn't sound alot, it dusn't rub alot at all |

Offline | Nope... not for me! The colour coded arches look dreadful! Whether its just that particular colour I don't know. As already stated the gap looks even worse than it can be on some R56's. Alloys certainly don't do it for me, there again some people won't like my alloys, each to their own .Looks lovely lowered but as Fergus said, rubbing on speed bumps is an issue for me too... Ben. |

Offline | I really like it, too... but it just tells me you haven't been looking too hard, either. It's really is just lowered, with custom wheels and color coded bodywork. Very much "sleeper-sporty" IMO. I plan on going a similar direction. Leaning towards the Hamann front & rear and all parts painted glossy black. Should look semi-stock and contrast the DS car nicely. We'll see. ![]() Founding member of R56 Anonymous: "Hello. My name is Mike. I'm a driving enthusiast... and I still like the R56" |
