Easy, I would make do without the smokers pack, it's not much use to me as I don't smoke!

That would be one expensive MINI if you chose every option!

I know it probably sounds weird, but I don't think I'd have the sat nav, I prefer the look of the normal speedo.

I wouldn't have the chrome line interior personally.

I would leave out the R56 MINI entirely. And probably buy a 1 year old 335i BMW instead for roughly the same money. A MINI with nearly all the options makes no sense at all.

LOL.. so true.. I think having too many options kills the simple idea of mini..

New 3 Series Coupe?? Great engine, and well built, but look at it!!! Its so boring (as is the standard 3 Series actually IMO) and at that money I would rather have something that looks brilliant as well as tick the other boxes. Id have an Alfa Romeo Brera V6. Almost bought a 159, but went out in a Brera V6 (only V6 the dealer had), and it was stunning. I wouldn't have a fully spec'd Mini to be honest, doesn't seem quite right somehow...

Well i spec'd the wifes new MCS and it came out @ £20K without trying, the sales guy said the most expensive mini ever ordered was a convertable for over £35K it had a £5K paint job, which if you order the flip paint you must order black which is another £280

Nice forum BTW

The MCS should be here 25th Sept ish, it's a MY2008 with the engine dynamics nearly 6mpg more and only 149 G/KG instead of 164

Welcome to the forum Vern and I hope you enjoy your new MCS, I am picking mine up on Saturday, I can't wait! I am also pleased that the new technology stuff like stop start has reduced the co2 and therefore the road tax, made it another reason why the MCS was a must have purchase!
