Hey Silverback, sorry if I am stating the obvious here but would you not be better to use the mini builder on mini.com to get more of an idea of what it will look like cos forza will only have the 1st gen? Personally from your choices I would have to go with white with black roof. White is the in colour just now on any car.

Pepper White with Black Roof, mirror caps and stripes, but then I am biased, as that's what I have ordered. I don't want to make them too common though, but your far enough away for it not to affect me

Good luck on the decision. I agree, it's a nightmare choosing the right colour combo. Get it wrong, and it's an expensive mistake.

IMO Red or White is safe bet. Yellow goes in and out of fashion a bit too quickly for me, but at the end of day, you choose the colour that you want, not what everybody else would like.

There's a few threads appearing based on colour combo's with plenty of proper photo's of 2nd Gen's, so they may help you decide. I agree with chris_h_465, computer generated cars look completely different to 'real' cars. They just don't portray the colour/lighting/shades correctly.

I agree, but at least with Forza I can look at the colour combo from different anlges and even see it motion...and that's before I start to play around with the decal options

Thanks for comments though...love the whole monochrome White&Black combo but edging towards Yellow&Black as a homage to my previous love (a Lightning Yellow VX220).

Red&White or Red&Black seem too safe an option for me.

pepper white on pepper white with black racing stripes the whole way across. Add the JCW aero kit, paint the arches, and black 17" wheels.
4 rally lights across the front (black, of course) from OutMotoring. Black-out the remaining chrome.

Few takers for Yellow with Black...all the more reason for me to go for it

Saw a Pepper White with Black today...didn't realise the white is an 'off' white...mmm still kinda liked it but not as nice as I thought it would be.

Mind you it's good we have our individual preferences!

I would have to say you have had few takers for yellow and black for a reason and without wanting to sound harsh - not many people like yellow cars. Now I know Mini typically hold their value better than any other car but buying a colour that isn't hugely popular in the first place will cause you problems further down the line when it comes to resale. To put it to extremes would you pay more money for I don't know David Beckhams Aston Martin DBS in pink or racing green?
