Congratulations on the potential order. Sounds like a great spec. You won't be disappointed with the PW. I think it looks great, but them I'm biased

Isn't the H-Fi part of the Chili pack in the UK? It is in the Australian spec, as is automatic air con. Might be worth trying to get the Hi-Fi thrown in for free as part of the Chili pack.

I personally think the Hi-Fi option sounds great and I have only played MP3 cd's and an iPod through it. Apparently, an original music CD sounds even better, but I have yet to try it.

MFSW is a must, espeically if you are thinking of the iPod interface or a integrated bluetooth handsfree, as it is all controlled from the steering wheel.

As for discount, I managed to get $1100 (about 500GBP) of the price and a full tank of fuel, so there are some discounts to be had.

There are basically 2 places you can get a mini from in Brisbane, Brisbane Mini and Motorline. Went to Motorline, asked for a discount, the guy said no. When to Brisbane Mini they said yes, so we bought 2 minis!!!

Unlucky Motorline, you snooze you lose!!

I got $3800 AU off my 07 MCS chili. It should have been $50,500, but I got it for $46,700 on the road, and $3000 AU off an 07 BRG Cooper.

I got of a tank of Juice thrown in which was morrisons finest not!!! Mrs V filled the MCS with shell V power and the smoothness and pick up were near instant improvment her words not mine

I have just taken the plunge and ordered another MCS to replace my last one which I sold on last May and should not have in hindsight !! Best car I've had to date.

Placed my order this morning with Robert Stern Mini and managed to negotiate a discount of £615 pounds of the total cost of the car. As mentioned previously the discount seems to be coming from the JCW parts that the dealers fit.

Here is my spec. for info. Had a Chilli Red / White MCS previously but could not resist the Astro Black with matching roof. Delivery planned for Jan 08 so the countdown begins...

The car has turned up very unexpectedly this afternoon at the dealers on a delivery! She was very surprised when she saw it considering that on friday afternoon the status on the screen said 'Paintshop complete'! She reckons a week for them to fit the body kit and to get the car fully prep/ PDI'd - means I can have it next Tuesday!

My dealer is going to take some pics of it for me now in it's delivered state, so all being well they will be in my inbox when I get home in and hour and half!!!

How the hell I'm going to sleep for the next week is beyond me!

She was very surprised when she saw it considering that on friday afternoon the status on the screen said 'Paintshop complete'! She reckons a week for them to fit the body kit and to get the car fully prep/ PDI'd - means I can have it next Tuesday! My dealer is going to take some pics of it for me now in it's delivered state, so all being well they will be in my inbox when I get home in and hour and half!!! How the hell I'm going to sleep for the next week is beyond me! Speeding has never killed anybody, suddenly becoming stationary... that's what gets you!
