| MINI2 Regular | As the subject says really, what sort of discounts are dealers giving on a MCS at the moment? I have managed to negotiate £600 off a £20,800 car and they also threw in free delivery (a 400 mile round journey). Does that sound good, or is there more room to manoeuvre? ![]() Speeding has never killed anybody, suddenly becoming stationary... that's what gets you! |

Offline | Full tank of fuel and TLC off a £22k spec. At the garage waiting for me, I collect next Thursday. Not that I'm excited or anything... If I'd got the 120D instead, I would have got 3000 off list price with the same value for P/X on either car. But then I would have had three years of dull motoring. |

| MINI2 Regular | Cheers for the comments Fergus, I'm not into aftrmarket stero and the Hi-Fi is 10x better than standard, so that's staying. Sunroof is essential because I come from convertible/targa cars, so a solid tin makes me feel chlostrophobic (as I found out with my last car, a MKV R32). I can't see the point of a MFSW in such a small car. I do take your note about the LSD though, I think I might add that to the spec. ![]() Speeding has never killed anybody, suddenly becoming stationary... that's what gets you! |

| MINI2 Regular | Hi Spec looks very similar to my 2008 model R56 Cooper S I have also the visibility pack, LSD, piano black trim and the full leather trim. Visibility pack gives the car that extra bit of style and sophistication. It is also brilliant in the winter. LSD helps the car put the power down. Piano black trim goes well with a P/W car with the cream line interior The full leather trim really lifts the interior and is much better quality that the R53 full leather seats. Makes the interior smell nice too. This all part of the fun of specing a mini, they are all different as everyone has different tastes. Its you car, enjoy choosing your spec. Have Fun Splashed 100 |

| MINI2 Senior | LSD is very cheap for what you get... MFSW good as it give you cruise and stereo controls are not the best lay out.... I went for it as I got the iPOD kit and means I can skip all the bad music on the stereo... Aftermarket stereo can be 100% hidden, that is the way I'm going as got scared of hi-fi option after readung a few bad reports on it.. |
