Offline | I have an early 2007 MCS (picked up in March), and I get the light coming on with the sport button, but it's really dim and hard to see from the usual driving position. It's even worse in daylight, you have to put your head right over the gear stick and shield it from sunlight to be able to see it. Of course, as others have said, the instant fun factor on the throttle is a dead giveaway. I have not noticed any messages in the rev counter, you have me curious now, I'll try it this morning. Now proud owner of a 2007 Cooper S! |

| MINI2 Regular | hello, I have dropped my car off at the dealers this morning to have the alloys fitted and the extra driving lamps - I mentioned this again when I was in there and got the same response! I did manage to speak to the manager and he is going to get them to look at it just in case. The sport mode does work - I tried it yesterday for the first time! All I can say is Geeesus H Christ! So I know it works just a little with the light! I want her to be perfect not to have flaws! |

Offline | On my June 07 build, the small green light on the SP comes on (if pressed) but nothing shows on the display....... possibly due to what mode it's in. The fact that it shows on the display is irrelevant, as you immediately know because the throttle is more responsive. |
