Parrot 3000 or 3100???

Hello

I forgot to spec my mini with blueooth so now i am looking to add a Parrot device

From what I read:
-The Parrot 3000 has no screen but you can control the volume from the MFSW
-The Parrot 3100 has a screen but you can only control the volumefrom the screen.

Anybody have expreicne with these devices? Any thoughts?

Thanks for any info

I had Mikeythemini install a Parrott 3000 in my R56 MCS about 10 days ago and am very pleased with it. I do not need the display as I have put voice tags on my phone for the numbers I regularly call and, all the functions I need can be controlled from the MFSW, ie answer call, make a call using the voice tags, end the call, plus control the volume. If I need to make a call to a number with no voice tag, the phone sits in a neat mount and I can find the number in my address book.

I wanted the car to look standard and felt the extra display would clutter up the dashboard. All that shows is the no-holes phone mount and a tiny mike above the driver's door pillar. It cost about £300 fitted and does everything I want.

I hope this helps

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking the same thing regarding cluttering up the displays and I want the system to look as stock as possible too. I think I will go with the 3000.

I am working with a local installer to get it sorted....wish I was in the UK and could use Mike
