Ireland My new MINI Cooper S

This is my first posting in a while.

Previously I had a MINI Cooper in Indi Blue with a white roof.

Then it was a Cooper S in Hyper Blue with white roof and stripes and colour-keyed interior.

In January 2008, the new Cooper S.

The car in detail is as follows:

Pepper White with black roof & stripes
R105 Works alloys in polished steel
Black Lounge Leather seats
Chilli Pack
Hi-Fi Loudspeaker package
Climate Control
Multi-Function Steering Wheel
Anthracite Headlining
Works Gear knob.

Is your handbrake lever an accessory? What is it?

So nice to hear good things about my car on a website. In another site, they call it a BINI and can't even name BMW - calling it B**. I have had to cope with abusive and racist postings from some so-called car enthusiasts.

You guys and the MINI Club guys in Ireland make a Cooper S guy feel proud to own a MINI.

The wheels look really nice.

I got my R56 S from Des too, test drove the R56 S Works he has in there earlier, tempting!

Love the wheels on your R56.....they really suit the car. Looks great.

I've come across the BMC Mini Vs BMW MINI thing at one or two club gatherings. Its always the old school BMC guys having a crack at "Bavarian" MINI's not being real mini's. But then you also get a lot of great classic Mini owners who own the Classic and the New, and they think both models are great. Leave the bad behind and keep the good.
