coopers ipswich, your having a laugh

£1100 labour to fit the JCW tuning kit (price £1095) which is just a cat back exhaust, filter and modified chip, I thought she was winding me up when she said it was very labour intensive.
So, just under £2200 for 17 bhp
Honda here i come.
I like to be kissed before i,m f*****d

Somethings not right there!

Take your business to Carrs of Bury Saint Edmunds, they're a good dealer, mine cost just under £1300 fitted.

Don't go to Honda because of the cost of the JCW kit - from what I've heard the Cooper S is in reality pumping out over 190bhp anyway (customer cars on rolling roads) - and the Type R is not a great car at all.

More fool you if you go and buy a Honda instead of just phoning a few more dealers. I looked closely at the Type R before I bought my R56.

Then I realised they're crap.

What a lucky escape that was.

Friends have both and have both had there problems, although the Honda was more trivial compared to the Cooper..

All I know is I liked sitting in the Cooper S and the General look of the car. The Honda leaves it behind, I sat for two hours in the Coop S from Glasgow to Fortwilliam and the Honda was easily faster I’m not into planting my right foot but even I was impressed at the way it left the S.

I’m just assuming speed is key as why else would you buy an S if it was not for the performance. If it was performance I wanted then it would be the Type R but I don’t like it at all, then again my other mate on the trip drove his M5 and it just ****ed on both of them all I knew was I liked the fun of the mini more.
Thats why I'm here looking out for a new D
