Offline | Fantastic economy I'm really thrilled with my MCS, today had a pretty steady run of about 30 miles to see my brother, a bit of city work, then motorway then across country was pretty steady as I was behind a lorry for most of the country roads but even so, fantastic economy! See pic |

Offline | If it's a steady straight run and you go at a decent speed you should get that sort of figure I would imagine quite easily. It's the everyday mix that matters though. |

Offline | That is pretty good - Although it will fall as you do more miles - even on the highway. I recently did a 2000mile road trip - on the way down (first 1200miles) including 4 days of city driving had an average of 37mpg the trip back - after approx 1000 miles, averaged 45Mpg, nteresting to watch it as you drive - the long straight roads - it sits around 50 - 52mpg, but quickly falls when going up a hill or overtaking. Overall, I too am very impressed with the little MCS's fuel economy. Lightning Blue MCS Auto |

Offline | Fuel consumption Got my MCS July 07 and was getting 41 mpg average for a while, but as the mileage increased and higher speed then it reduced. It's now done 6K and shows 34.7 mpg from new. Having the Sports Button ON will decrease the mpg, so if you want economy leave it off......spolis the fun though ![]() |
