Reading through the forums and i see that there is no mention of a mini one varient of the 2nd gen mini and was wondering if they are going to make it and if/when it will be released ?

I am going to be exchanging my current mini one soon, and as i can't afford the cooper and the increased insurance i would really like to know if it's worth waiting to upgrade.

Yes they are, and so far official news is just "next year". At the moment we expect around March.

How did they play it last time; Cooper, One (at the same time?), S?

Last time it was Cooper (and One where available) then S. In some markets all together. This time it's the Cooper and S, then One.

My dealer mentioned that the S will be around £16K

Didn' think i should make another thread about this, because its not really the forum for it, but dont kno where else to.. so ill just put it in here as it has relevance..

Well im going to be buying the 07 mini one hopefully, and i was just wondering if it will be available around the 5th of april? or within a month or 2 of it either way?

Also.. Is the standard spec on the one and all other models expected to be the same? better? or worst?

I've not got a firm release date for the One, I can try and find out though.

Who's to say, could be a Cooper in one colour, could be a One.. Nothing much to tell them apart really is there?
