Hi.

Have ordered as MCS in LB (dangerous choice I know) and I have been give a build date of week 48.

Does anybody know when this is on the calender and when I can expect to take delivery. I know i should call me dealer but I dont want to be a pest.

Ours is week 50 build and weve been told delivery is Dec15th. So I guess yours will be 2 weeks before that, end of Nov early Dec.

Any pics of lightening blue as it is on my shortlist of options. Including Astro Black and Chili Red, perhaps nightfire red.

Have not seen the LB but have the new catalogue in hand which shows and inchxinch square of it. Looks good IMO. Also shows some good detail of interior.

I am getting excited now!

I think I will have one of the first MCS in Lightning blue about so will post pics as soon as I pick it up. Have gone for chilli, white roof, bonnet stripes and 17"crown and a few bits inside.

Cant wait now.

Is the interior lights package part of the chilli??

Sorry about thwe questions but I thought I would be getting it February and now think its only three weeks!!

Have seen these and they are the reason for it be a dangerous choice! Knew I should have stuck withh all black astro dammit.

Its just a nothing colour, more suited to an audi not a mini

Based on those photos I tend to agree, but I imagine in the flesh it'll look pretty good! It's my second colour choice, after pure silver.

Week 48 is the last week in November (commencing Monday 27th) but I am pretty sure the first week of production for Lightning Blue is Week 49 (that's when my orders, placed months ago, are being built)

You should see your new MINI a week to ten days after it is built, so mid-December is looking likely!

I saw a lightning blue Cooper at the factory and the colour looked very nice. Much nicer than the photos of it on the race day on this forum. In between hyper Blue and Indi. very nice. Night fire was glorious!

You are a big fan of Nightfire Red aren't you! I have a Velvet Red MINI so kinda get you, but Nightfire is lighter isn't it?

I think if you look at any Rover car in metallic red, that is Nightfire Red. Seems more pink than the Velvet i have.

I am a big fan of Nightfire! Its like blood clot red. Its lovely, very deep but not as dark as velvet red. Very lush. Heritage looking supposedly! Looking forward to seeing my first Cooper on the roads in this colour. I do think its going to go down the same lines as Velvet Red though and not be around long.

The sleepless nights haave started. Its like the last 24 christmas' at the same time x 10000.

Can anyone confirm that the interior lights package comes with Chilli?

Am waiting on LB to. Should be mid December but at the moment am OK waiting as been without a car since August. Going to the launch weekend so may have a better idea of my delivery date.
Dead pleased with my spec as it's gonna look awesome !

Rayb we know yours is an Auto same as ours.

We ordered ours on September 4th, build week 49 delivery December 20th

How does that happen then?

I was told by one dealer 2 weeks ago i was looking at week starting 18th December till I get a lightning blue cooper. The dealer I have ordered mine from told me this week it is likely to be before Xmas (after initially saying it would be Jan) cant wait!!!!
