What wheels are you going for?

Yes; If you are going for the colourline, then you should also get the piano black IMO, they look great together.

That sounds great to me!!! Must admit the Piano Black seems a good idea as the ring on the door trim is normally in plastic, whereas with the Piano black, its in Piano Black. Thats from what ive seen anyway...

I'm thinking that too, worried it would be too dark though. The demo car had red colour line and silver which looked very nice.

The piano black really appeals as well though.

Rooster Red with Piano black looks fantastic.

Dont worry about it looking too dark, think of the amount of people who have all black interior, seats, dash etc

Fluid Silver (a £110 option) gives you a silver dash AND silver door elipses. It is the standard "fine white silver" that gives you a silver dash and black (cheap plastic) door elipses.

It's great to have you back, Ken. You're one of the guys I really remember from when I joined back in December 2003 and got my first MINI - a One - shortly after (I've got a Cooper now).

You've got yourself a really nice spec there. I'd go for the piano black!

So did the Golf become a bit boring?

United-Kingdom Piano Black - Rooster Red

Ken,

I agree with them all, its got to be Black and Red, it looks even better in the flesh... I just need to convince my wife to have the stripes fitted...then it will nearly the same as your spec...

Yep, definitely get the MFSW. That's the one option I wish I'd got that I didn't!

How much is it?

I've got cruise in my Golf. I do use it but I wouldn't pay extra for it, tight git

I don't mean for the cruise control feature. There's a few reasons I wish I'd got it. Firstly, it's good to be able to adjust the radio. Secondly, if you connect an iPod the MFSW buttons have some cool features. Thirdly, if you get a bluetooth handsfree kit, you can hide it and control it with the MFSW buttons.
