Offline | Sport button or no sport button!! Hi All I'm ordering an R56 Cooper for March 1st delivery and I've been asking my dealer whether I can order the sport button as an extra, but she's under the impression that it won't be available on the cooper at all! I've read a lot of threads saying that it'll be available from March next year in the UK but does that mean I should be able to order it now as I'm having March delivery or would you have to wait until march to order it. Hope this makes sense!! ![]() |

Offline | I'm sure I read on here somewhere that it would be an option on the Cooper from March builds. That would mean you won't be able to have your car for a 1st March registration though. The Sport button is already available on Coopers in other parts of europe so it seems strange that its not available in this country yet. |

| Almost There... | MINI have 'sort of' confirmed that the Sport Button will be available on Cooper from March build, but as yet there is no way to actually specify it on an order. Bearing in mind that the people that want a definite 1st March delivery will be having cars built in February, I would be inclined to ask your dealer to postpone putting your order through to MINI until you know for sure. Worst case scenario it won't be available and you'll get a March build slot for April delivery. This will of course mean you will have to be ultra switched on in terms of keeping up-to-date with changes to the options list, as it is not beyond some dealers to just order your car anyway and tell you it isn't available. (Did I say that out loud again? ) |
