Well my MINI Cooper arrived Saturday in the desired Lightning blue /w White roof etc clothing and I am really liking the combination. Interior is pacific blue with fluid silver NO pacific blue colour line i have the dark grey.

I have uploaded two images to the members gallery - not very good photos unfortunately. I shall be cleaning it this coming weekend and shall take loads of GOOD photos and upload them.

As for the ride, I'm trying to get use to it. It doesn't like low RPM's very sluggish down there - so no more lazy gear changes i.e. drive properly.

Also today i noticed that when stationary idling i have a noticeable resonance (feel it in the belly) - anyone else have this e.g. normal?

Loving it too, mind you i would say that as its pretty much identical to mine due this week ( I am so excited)

, didnt really want all that blue inside, glad too see someone else has not gone ALL pacific blue inside.

I do like the Pacific Blue colour line, never really considered any other combo......!

Congratulations loving the interior! My engine sounded and vibrated like a Diesel at first at tickover, but after 2700 miles it's now much quiter and sweeter. Your performance will improve too.

Pls don't take offence

I have learnt that the options are a matter of personal preference and that no combo is right or wrong over another - other than in the the owners eyes. Still means I like your car (99.9%)

E.g. A guy at work today got in my brand new MINI and his only words were xyz pieces of plastic look cheap (nice!!) but to me they aren't cheap in both senses of the word.

I like your blue inside. Good looking car all round and it has certainly made me think of similar if I go for a Mini.

None offence taken at all. It's great there are so many choices that we can all have something to our own tastes.
I had some less than constructive comments too from one guy too. I only bought it not built it !

Thanks. I'm a big fan of blue as you can tell ! The dark grey colour line looks great but the Pacific Blue matches the seats/armrests and I love it. Always helpful to see before you spec. I just took a chance I was going to like it !
