![]() Addicted to MINI... | R56 economy and trim combinations Hi folks! Just two questions for you 1. On the USA Mini website the figure given for fuel efficiency of the new Cooper is 30/40 (city/highway) so thats basically the same as urban/rural...but the figures on the UK site say 36/61. Why the difference? Theyre both the same car after all. 2. I got quite frustrated with the trim combinations on the R56. For example; no blue interior with mellow yellow, no blue with the chilli red and no red interior in a BRG car. Does anyone else find this or is it just me Do the dealers ever let you have unusual combinations??Thanks |

Offline | Blue interior on a yellow or red car sounds hideous I sat go with recommended combos, will be easier to live with and sell on. Please post your spec if you place an order. Red/Black R56 Cooper |

Offline | You can register with the Owner's Lounge -- put in your order number and it should show you. Important: The correct order may not show up for a day or two. When I put my order in, I entered my number the next morning and was concerned to see that it was associated with a vehicle in Astra Black (rather than Pepper white). Not that I have anything against Astra Black, it just obviously wasn't my choice. Erring on the side of caution (and alarmism ), I emailed the dealer. They assured me that the order was correct, it may just take a while for the system to show the right thing. And sure enough, a few hours later it did.mmalc |

Offline | Is it red with white roof, sounds great.. Where did you order? Your dealer should be able to give you the info from the the order they put in the system. You can't do the owner's lounge thing as that is only for the US. May sounds OK, June is a bit late. Delivery depends on the dealers allocation. They should be able to give you a build week soon. You can also make spec changes until abput 6 weeks before delivery. Red/Black R56 Cooper |

![]() Addicted to MINI... | Yes, red with white bits. Its been ordered at John Clark in Dundee, even though I'm in Edinburgh...(The guy doing the financing knows a guy in John Clark ) So I'll have to find out the build number through them and a build week. I hope it does come in may coz then I'll get the whole summer! I noticed the owners lounge was USA only so will I have to wait with fingers crossed that the order is correct! I wont sleep! Thanks for all your help everyone! |

Offline | Oh, I beg your pardon. I thought the Ministry of Ownership was more-or-less the same thing, but clicking through I see you have to have a chassis number as well. My apologies for the misinformation, and thank you for the correction. mmalc |
