I'm being lazy here (should probably read the manual) but can anyone tell me if the R56 Mini allows you to close the windows from outside the car? The old Mini allowed you to do this with the key (turn to one side and hold until windows closed) which is a feature I really liked.

Yes,
You can close the windows from outside on the R56.
Same as on the R50,except you take the actual key out of the
remote and put the real key in the door lock and hold to lock
and up go the windows.
Tried it the other day after putting down the windows using the remote.
