Well we've waited since the 18th of October for my wifes new Cooper, and todays the day we go to collect it. I think that all the hassle in between has really spoilt the occassion some what.

But I'm looking forward to seeing it. Neither of us have seen one yet but I dont think the colour will be a disappointment.

You're right, everybody that I have shown it to really likes it - especially in the sun.

Well, not long till I get mine either - she' s getting all pampered up ready for delivery any hour now to my house, so she'll be waiting for me when I get home - so I promise loads of pics!!!

I was on the factory tour about 2 weeks ago and I saw several nightfire reds on the line, some all one colour and some with black roof and some with white roof. All of the combinations looked good. I only saw them inside the factory and the colour appeared quite dark and very deep. Im sure outside under natural light it will look brighter.

Yes, ordered some time ago...but for delivery in 2008!

I wanted to have one of the first new model cabrios when available....but having now driven an R56, I'm not so sure.

Well Nightfire red is a bit of a copper colour, nearly every one thats seen it calls it brown.

Its not the colour we were expecting but it is a rich colour and we like it .......... we have a few problems though...!
