Scotland Mini Rally lights

hey ive just ordered a MC with the white stripes, lightning blue, white roof

this may sound a bit cliched but i think the mini cooper in the italian job remake looked great with those extra lights. does anyone have them installed and or know any good places to get them and stuff? what are your views on them?

thnks

Do you mean the lights on the bonnet or the 4 rally lights in the lower grill, i presume the bonnets driving lights as thats whats on the film.

I think you can retro fit them for £145.

Ask your dealer mate.

Also, if you go to the mini website and choose accessories - they may be listed there

Or get a set of wipacs and fit them for less than half the price, and they are just as good quality as the OEM lights and look the same, although the lights for the R56 do look abit bigger!

I got them fitted by my dealer when I bought my Cooper, charged me £343.75!!!! (Inc VAT & fitting). They do look good but I think I probably would have been better off spending the money on bi-xenons.

Is that for 2 or 4 lamps??

Bi Xenons would be better!

That was just for the 2 lamps, and I definitely agree that the bi-xenons would be better!

I have those driving lights and they are great! I live in a small town and when I drive home at night the extra lights really brighten the road. I had them on my last MINI as well and I think they are worth every penny I paid. I don't think I would get them if I didn't do a lot of driving at night in places where there are no street lights though.

I've had them on all 3 of my MINI's, TBH wouldn't not have them. But didn't think you could fit them yourself as don't you need a new grille?

I don't think you do need a new grille, as I'm sure I would have been billed for that when I had mine fitted.

Definitely a good thing having extra lighting!

Yes you do need a new grill, the new grill comes with the brakets inlcuded on them. this is what makes the spot lights so expensive now!! altho i'll **** be getting some even tho i got bi xenons

Does anybody know where you can buy the spot lights, if you don't want to buy them from the dealer?
Thanks.
