Driving in Europe

Hello all,

I am planning on taking my Cooper to France next month and I was wondering how I go about adjusting the headlights (normal halogens). Can I get away with using those awful sticky things or is it a costly visit to my local dealer?

Also, as I have had two driving lamps fitted does anyone know if this will cause me any potential problems with the Gendarmes.

Cheers.
Dan

ok what I do in the family mobile is simply adjust the lights internally so they point down as much as possible and have never had a problem

I assume by driving lamps you mean spotlights, they have these in france as well so I imagine you should be ok

Am going to France, Belgium & Germany from Sep 30th to Oct 8th & have been looking at Super Beam Benders from SAXON INDUSTRIES - Leading marketing and distribution organisation for car care brands. - see under their metro brand catalogue ...

Any thoughts, advice appreciated

Thank you all for the info. As I am only going for 5 days and don't plan on driving much at night I might just adjust them down as suggested earlier.

Thanks again,
Dan
