think i have been double stiched up by ebay in one day!! won both cooper s spoiler and grill on ebay, spoiler still has not arrived (think that was a con) and the s grill fits except the bottom crome surround and speaking to my dealer you cant buy that seperatly

so looking for new mods again

Matt. firstly theres been a postal strike so calm down

and secondly theres a thread on here about fitting the S grill to a cooper. May solve your problems

I too was going to mention the postal strike, it took about 5 days for my 6000k Xenon biulbs to arrive!

Think they are planning one today too, but were trying to get a court order or summit to stop it...

5 Bolts and 2 clip things, fitted in 10 mins

hub fixed, altho i now need new brake pads and discs after 13,600 miles

and i need oil, i never had this problem with my r53's

nope just suposedly worn

which i can't understand coz my convetable n my 54 cooper both did 27,000 sumodd miles didn't need brakes or oil

I don't think you will need new pads&discs

, they're maybe just tryin to get more business from you! If the brakes still work fine and don't make a noise when you use em they should be alright. At my last service they said mine were nearly ready for replacement, to listen out for any noise from them, then get them done. I've done 8000 miles since then and they're still ok!

they measured them i got 2.7 mm left and min is 2.4

I assume those measurements are for the pads, they seem to have worn very quick. Even if they need replacing i wouldn't have thought the discs would as well unless they're badly scored and unevenly worn or there's a big lip around the outside edge. Did they give you a reason?

matts right, there no way your discs need replacing. audi tried to do this to my mum several times, she just said no they dont and they werent done until after 80,000 miles

Rite update!! had to get the brakes sorted had 300 miles left at 16,000 so when sopers told me i had 700 miles left i managed to get another 2,400 miles out of them

And i have Finally!!!! got my cooper s grill fitted and have added a little detail of my own to it tell me what you think
