My mum had a hire car through Swift Car Hire (I think) and had two cars, first one went back while we were on holiday for a week and and I think in the end we had it for 4-6 weeks or something like that and the invoice said the hire car had cost the insurance nearly £2500.

Has your dealer got any Accident Management schemes in place?
After I had a small shunt a couple of years ago, {not my fault}, I informed my dealer who has a partnership scheme with one of these AM companies. They sorted everything out & gave me an exchange MCS straight away & for the duration while the dealer fixed the car, without any money changing hands & without a single call to my insurance co.

Poor you at least your ok and we often forget that blessing when involved in a accident, you can't buy health and well being. However you can insist upon a MINI garage providing you get three quotes 1st. BMW will normally provide these for you any way, insurance companies then claim that you can't have a courtesy car for repait period but BMW will normally provide one anyhows.

Sorry about the damage it, p***** me off when I notice a scratch when polishing so can understand how you feel...

Forgot to say you should make full use of any sore body parts - you deserve a small silver lining to this one.
