Hi guys, yes my button on wheel are light coloured but they do light up, were as the darker one on the demo car I tried did not.

The so-called darker older buttons do light up on both 1st and 2nd generation MINIs, but only if the headlights are switched on.

I have a march 08 clubman and I have the darker buttons onthe steering wheel. I do have a wooden steering wheel so wandered if this was "old" stock as I havent seen a wooden steering wheel on another mini. Im not sure why as they are free on the clubman and are wonderful for driving and feel
